Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Four, 10 hour days M-F

We’re currently seeking a Full-Time EXPERIENCED Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Our Veterinary Assistants should:

  • Anticipate the needs of DVM staff to promote efficiency and teamwork.
  • Be proficient in performing blood draws and catheter placements.
  • Be proficient in interpreting ear and skin cytology to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Be knowledgeable about proper vaccine protocols and scheduling for canine and feline patients.
  • Be knowledgeable about appropriate ages and conditions for spaying and neutering dogs and cats.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive attitude at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Show empathy toward clients, coworkers, and themselves.
  • Be willing to ask for help—and offer it to others.
